Women’s Startup Lab: Strengths
SO MUCH INFORMATION! The kind that’s almost paralysing. You realise theres a lot to do and you focus on weaknesses to fix them only to realise you’ve forgotten what your good at, damn it! Fix this, do that, no like this, no, now! NO, BETTER! (That’s not what really happens) I realise, how important it is to step back and just forget about it, it all doesn’t matter (all that worry), its just noise. Take the information in slow and process it, you don’t have to do it all now (I forget I tell myself).
I don’t learn from words, I learn from doing, that’s my style and I need to start doing to improve, business wise and personally.
So when I realised that I was trying to “fix” things I wasn’t so good at, I shifted to focusing on the stuff I am with the direction of Darlene, our cohort coach. Well, just like many people I am not sure about my strengths so I bought the book StrengthFinder 2.0 that comes with a code to do the strength finder quiz (about 30 mins).
